Khushi Educational & Social Trust is a Mumbai-based non-governmental organization, working towards creating meaningful and sustainable opportunities for underprivileged women, children and senior citizens through education, skill development, creativity, care and community engagement.
Our mission is to contribute towards building an educated, socially aware, self-reliant and healthy society. We are guided by our belief:

Our Journey
Khushi was formalised in 1999, beginning with a Kids Club as one of its initial initiatives. The objective was to help children from underprivileged communities understand the importance of education, develop positive values and grow into responsible and confident members of society.
Over the years, we introduced educational workshops, sports activities, financial awareness initiatives such as the Kids Bank, and programmes focusing on social awareness, gender equality, women’s and children’s health and other important community issues.
As our understanding of community needs grew, so did our work.
Today, Khushi has reached over 1,00,000 students through its workshops and programmes across more than 249 schools. Our work has evolved to address not only educational needs, but also creativity, confidence, life skills, livelihood opportunities, health, dignity and emotional well-being.
